American Fright Night
Your deepest fears come to life in this 40,000 square foot attraction! Hosted in a Parade Float museum guests will find towering figures and creatures above them while walking through themed areas such as Clown Town, Creepy Christmas, Patriotic Chaos, Jungle, Graveyard and a twisting and winding Haunted house. The entire exhibit takes 30-40 minutes to complete and does feature strobe lighting, loud noises, terrifying surprises and more.

Excellent haunt. Groups don't get clumped up, actors are very talented, atmosphere is palpable, and line isn't too long. Highly recommended, coming from someone who visits 3 or more haunts every year!

This was, BY FAR, the best attraction in the area. We went to two last night, this being the first, and it made the second disappointing. Initially we thought this was going to be some local community haunt that wasn’t going to be good for a couple of laughs. We underestimated this place. Great layout and scenes. If we come back again for our trip next year, this is definitely the only place we are going! I definitely recommend this location!

This place is amazing! It is in a museum that displays decommissioned parade floats which makes a perfect backdrop for scares. Definitely in my top 3 favorite haunted attractions.

Outside feature was awesome, the way it’s set up allows your group to go out of order from when you went in so everyone gets a different experience. Highly recommend!!

This was our first time, despite living less than 10 minutes away from the caverns! It was amazing and beyond expectations. The actors went all out and the design was so cool being with all the floats!

We enjoyed our experience so much. I’ve been wanting to visit for a while and now it will be a yearly tradition for us. The space, maze, decorations, scare actors were all working in perfect harmony for the BEST haunted house I’ve ever been to. We cannot wait to return!!

I normally don't go to haunted houses but with the family tonight so went along. Not super scary but very fun. A couple mazes and we needed help to get out of one. I would say teenagers and older since a few of the sections would be challenging for smaller children to make it through.

I was pleasantly suprised at how many friends agreed that a haunted house in a parade float museum was a great idea and joined us. I highly recommend going on a big group so that by the end you can't tell friend from foe and you're just screaming at anyone who moves

Absolutely love it! The outdoor makes it even better! The mazes were great and very well marked. The staff is so friendly. They had t-shirts this year ( had to get one ) and a food truck. This will be the 7th year we have gone. Me and my daughter have gone every year since they started doing this. It’s our Halloween tradition. Keep up the good work! Can’t want till next year!!

This is a big building and it takes about 30 minutes to go through. Lots of creativity and scares all the way through. We will definitely make this one an annual event. I highly recommend American Fright Night.

I would recommend this haunted house to anybody and everybody I meet. It has all the right scares and the actors really know how to get a reaction out of everybody. This was my son's first year but was my wife and eyes third time coming. Anytime we visit the Luray area in the future during October we will always come to the American fright night! Hands down the best!

We had SO much fun! Super scary, lots of different rooms and themes. Super impressed with the cleverness and ingenuity of the mazes and setups. I genuinely shrieked and ran. I don't live in-state, but I would definitely come back again! I also appreciated how they spaced out the groups for a more authentic experience. I've been to many other haunted houses at theme parks where they just shove you through in over-crowded groups.

Great job turning that huge building into a haunted house! Literally one of the best I’ve ever been in! I loved the actors! Loved the scenery’s! Loved the mazes, especially the last one! Just great theatrics overall! I’m just sad I don’t live closer to experience that every year!

This place was huge & had every kind of scare possible. The lighting they did made the normal parade displays super creepy. The way they turned Christmas displays from sweet to murderous was genius! The actors were all on point! I don't get scared easily but they made me jump quite a few times. Also, the guy playing Hannibal Lecter gave me goose bumps! There are aspects of traditional fun houses in there (mirrors & a spinning room), so there was something for everyone.

It was great! Super scary and tons of detail! The actors were all very great and had a lot of passion in their roles. They made the experience even better than it already was. The mazes were tricky and fun to traverse, and the whole event was perfect. Definitely coming back next year!
