The Halloween Season here in Maryland is jam packed with tons of scares. Top Pick for the 2017 Halloween Season: 301 Devil's Playground - Galena, MD

Located in Galena, 301 Devil's Playground features three haunted attractions for thrill seekers to take on during the Halloween Season. There's The Barn of Torture, House of Hell and the Zombie Paintball Ride. Each attraction is unique and features a ton of thrills and chills that are different from the next. Visitors brave enough to test out their shooting skills on the undead will climb aboard an actual Army truck during the Zombie Paintball Ride, which takes you on a journey through an Army compound that has been taken over by the flesh-eating creatures! Station 7 Terror Trail - Gambrills, MD

Station 7 Terror Trail is a not-for-profit haunted attraction that is a family-friendly haunt with activities for those of all ages. The Terror Trail is recommended for those 8 or older, and the Boo Haunt Loop is ideal for those younger who want to enjoy some light-hearted scares. The attraction supports the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department, with all proceeds going directly to the department. What better way to enjoy some horror than to support a great cause at the same time?!

CornStalker's Trail of Terror - Waldorf, MD
Featuring over 7,000 square feet of twists and turns, CornStalker's Trail of Terror takes visitors through cornstalk paths, narrow dark hallways and horrifying rooms. New for the 2017 Halloween Season, CornStalker's introduced a five minute escape room and Darkness Trail. Prepare yourself for the scares being stirred up for this year and don't miss out on the frightening fun that will be taking place!

Legends of the Fog - Aberdeen, MD

Aberdeen's Legends of the Fog is an indoor and outdoor haunt that features four unique attractions at one scary-good location. Thrill seekers can take on the Haunted Hayride, the Haunted Farewell Hotel, Sinister Circus and the Cornstalkers Maze. Twisted Fields of Terror - Prince Frederick, MD
Twisted Fields of Terror will be re-opening for the 2019 Halloween Season, but they still made our list for the scares they delivered last year! Those brave enough to visit will experience three attractions, including the Z-Pocalypse Paintball Hay Ride, Cannibal Creek Haunted Trail and Twisty's Twisted Corn Maze. Don't forget to make them part of your haunting journey in 2019!

Fort Howard Haunted Dungeons - Fort Howard, MD
Presented by The Edgemere Sparrows Point Recreation Council (E.S.P.), this attraction has been giving Fort Howard locals the scares of their lives for over 30 years. Enjoy a 1-2 hour walking tour that includes a journey through the dark, eerie woods, long and daunting X-Military bunkers that have some real spirits residing throughout! And after you take on the terror, enjoy some food, drinks, hot chocolate and dungeon dogs!

Vampire Manor - Bel Alton, MD

 This not-for-profit attraction first began their Halloween Season fun in 1989 as a fundraiser for the newly formed Charles County Dive Rescue Team. With a couple of different locations throughout the years, Vampire Manor has given visitors an enormous dose of scares no matter where the haunt is located. All proceeds go to benefit non-profit organizations including; Charles County Dive Rescue Inc. (Company 13), the Bel Alton Volunteer Fire Department (Company 10), and drama programs at some of the local county high schools.
