Farmingdale's Darkness Rising Haunted Attraction puts on a scary good Halloween haunt each year and their new location is at Play Amusement, formerly known as Fun Zone. After years of scaring in Massapequa, Darkness Rising raised over $200,000 for the Heather Pendergast Fund and YES Community Counseling Center. Although the attraction now operates as a for profit haunt, they still have donating options at their ticket booth for those who would like to support a great cause while enjoying the thrills and chills of the Halloween Season! This haunted trail is located on the grounds of the Yaphank Presbyterian Church and offers a half-mile long trek through the dark, eerie woods.
