Top Pick for the 2016 Halloween Season: Sanctum of Horror - Mesa, AZ
Located on East Southern Avenue in Mesa, Sanctum of Horror was a Top 10 Rated Attraction Nominee on AZHauntedHouses.com in 2015 and is no stranger to the number one spot. Also dubbed #1 in 2013, this Haunted Attraction knows how to get even the bravest of haunt-goers utterly terrified.
Featuring two haunted attractions at one great location, thrill seekers will enter the twisted mind of Lenore, and relive her violent past. Journey through the rooms of her childhood home, and witness the brutal murders of her family that took place there. Then there's the ancient graveyard and St. Charlotte Asylum, where the patients have taken over, experimenting on the doctors who once tried to help them. Want to escape? Your only way out is through Lenore's cell and into the basement where she would torture her victims!
New for 2016 was The Breach, which follows the story of a military research facility known as Bunker 16, which sits deep within the southern Arizona desert. Bunker 16 is where a number of defense contracts took place, and various classified projects were conducted. PROJECT: PESTILENCE was started after a rare leech was found in the Orinoco River, and the cells within the leech could replicate those of any living organism it came in contact with.
